Booking Guidelines
You’re now eligible to book the pickleball court via the button below. Please keep a record of the URL for ease of future bookings. Bookings are open for a rolling 14-day period, with each slot lasting one hour.
Upon booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email specifying the date and time. Even if you play immediately, please make a booking to help us manage equipment and monitor court interest. This ensures that no one else can book the court during your playtime, as booked slots grant exclusive access.
Court Booking cancellations:
We understand plans change. If you can’t play, promptly cancel your booking via email to info.bbpickleball@gmail.com. This allows others the chance to book, even if it’s just a few hours before. Consistent no-shows may lead to future booking cancellations.
Storeroom Access and Equipment:
Upon confirmation of your membership, you will receive a WhatsApp message from the BBPC admin with the current combination lock code to the storeroom.
To gain entry to the storeroom located at the far end of the verandah behind Crassula Hall, use the combination lock code provided. Please note that the code may change periodically, and you will be updated with the new one.
Within the storeroom, you’ll have access to:
- 4 Paddles/Bats
- 2 Pickleballs
- Net (unless already on the court)
- Laminated rules
Broom for court maintenance
Should any equipment be missing or damaged, please inform the BBPC admin using the contact details provided below.
After playing, kindly return all equipment to the storeroom & lock it securely. If another player has a booking immediately after you, you can leave the equipment for them to take over.

Connect with locals! It’s a great way to organize games and expand your playing circle.
In future, we hope to reserve community times for club members to meet and play together. Outside these times, bookings are limited to one hour per day per member. To maximize court availability for the community, we kindly ask members not to book excessively during peak periods. Members with multiple bookings may be requested to forfeit some slots if others are unable to secure a booking.
Groups Types:
1: Never played much ball sport, but keen to try
Perfect for beginners who are excited to take their first steps into the world of pickleball.
2: An occasional social tennis or squash player
Ideal for those who enjoy casual games and have some experience with racquet sports.
3: Played a fair amount of tennis or squash at a reasonable level
Suited for players with a more extensive background in racquet sports, aiming for a higher level of play.
How to request joining one of the WhatsApp Groups:
To join one of our WhatsApp groups, simply follow these easy steps:
- Save +27 (82) 492-4875 as the contact number for BBPC as a contact on your phone
- Open WhatsApp on your phone.
- Compose a new message stating your name, surname & your preferred group by typing the corresponding number:
- “1” for the group of beginners.
- “2” for the group of occasional social players.
- “3” for the group of players with a fair amount of tennis or squash experience.
That’s it! You’ll be added to the WhatsApp group of your choice, where you can start connecting with players of a similar skill level and interests.
